(the following is a section we're working on)

2009 Highlights

Just can't seem to find the time :-(

2008 Highlights

2008 was a really great year for Damascusroad.
12 Damascusroad kids achieved new championship titles, some attaining more than one title and

several racking up some very nice wins including #1 Pom in France, BIS and Group 1s at home and abroad.

Another one of our boys won the Stud Dog Class at the APC Nationals in Kentucky where one of his sons was Best of Winners.

Fr/Swiss/Lux/Belgium/Int'l
MBIS/MBISS CH Damascusroad Deepsea Anchor
Andy added this fifth championship title to his name at the FRIBOURG International Show  (2,006 dogs) on February 24, 2008 under Judge M Seymore (AUS)

Andy is a multiple Best in Show and multiple Best in Specialty Show winner who was #1 Pom in France in 2005.
His Best in Show winning littermate brother Niko is #1 Pom in France this year, at five years of age.

MBPIS Can/Aust CH Damascusroad Luke Skywalker
Luke finished in two weekends with two Group1 and Best Puppy in Show wins. He then went to Australia finishing quickly there.
He won the Toy Group, with an entry of 300 Toy dogs, at the 2008 Annual Royal Adelaide Show in September.

Russian CH Damascusroad Harness the Wind
Rita is the daughter of our darling Holly (Damascusroad Dreams of Holland), full sister to Tucker and Taylor.
She became a Russian Champion in May 2008 at just over three years of age.

CH Damascusroad Deepsea Magic
Maggie finished with a Group placement, the last of her litter of four to become a Canadian Champion and the 7th CH for Dam Ellie.

Canadian and Philippine CH Damascusroad Logan by the Sea
Logan finished quickly with several Group wins before going to Loganpoms in the Philippines.
His first time out there, he won BOB and Group 2 over top ranking specials. He did the same thing the next time he was out,
taking BOB and Group placements at both shows on December 7, 2008 to finish his Philippine Championship in just three shows.
We look forward to great things for him next year ~ and for the 5th generation kids that we now have out of him at Damascusroad.

Best in Show, #1 Pom in France 2008 and #1 Pom in Belgium 2008
Fr/Swiss/Lux/Belgium/Int'l
BIS CH Damascusroad Deepsea Night
Niko won Best in Show over an entry of nearly 1,200 dogs at the May 2008 Bar le Duc Show in France.
In June, he added a French title to his list of Championship titles. And best of all, Niko finished the year as the #1Pom in both France and Belgium.
His littermate brother Andy, who also holds five different championship titles and MBISs, was #1 Pom in France for 2005.

International & Swiss CH Damascusroad Dreams of Tahiti
Taylor finished her Swiss Championship in June 2008 and became in International Champion in November 2008.
She is mother to a top winning Special for owner Sabine Jorg.

Grand CH Damascusroad December Dateline
Linus finished his Canadian Championship in August 2008 winning over some very nice Specials with a Group First, BPIG and RBPIS and two Group 4 wins.
He now lives in Russia and will start his show career there once he recoats from his one-year shed.
His littermate brother Desi needs just a couple of points to finish, unforturnately he sat on the sidelines a bit and we just ran out of shows here for him.

CH Damascusroad Ocean Paradise
A great finish for 7½ month old Izzie on August 30, 2008, the first day of her second weekend out.
Izzie walked away with a 5-point Group First/Best Puppy in Group win under well known breeder Judge Natalie Dunfee.
Izzie comes from three generations of Champion Damascusroad bitches and she gives us four consecutive generations of Champion Damascusroad bitches.
Izzie’s littersister Brianna, who lives in Washington State, will be out later with Deena and we are hoping she will finish as well,
giving their Dam her ROM in three litters. We are really looking forward to seeing what Izzie will do for us in the whelping box next year.

CH Damascusroad Ocean Inua Breeze
Brianna, litter sister to Izzie, finished  her UKC Championship in the US in September  2008
She finished in four shows with four majors, and her Mom Sheila says she can move like sister Izzie according to the judge's comments :) :)

CH Damascusrsoad Call of the Sea
This little doll finished at just a week or so past 6 months of age in two back-to-back weekends.
Her wins included BOS (over the Specials bitch) and Best of Winners over a very nice entry (14 poms in the classes) and to top it off ~ Best Puppy in Group!!! She was shown to these wins in Saskatchewan and Alberta by Kim Cowie. Cali comes from three generations of Champion Damascusroad bitches and she gives us a second line of four consecutive generations of Champion Damascusroad bitches. Litter sister Misty finished right after Cali.

CH Damascusroad Misty by the Sea

Misty finished from the Junior Puppy classes in just three weekends with plenty of points to spare.

Misty got her first points November 21-23, 2008 weekend, and a Best Puppy in Group under Virginia Lyne.
She followed this win up the very next weekend with a 3-point major for Best of Winners under Judge Michael Hill

The next time she was out, Misty was Best of Winners all weekend for three majors totaling 9 points! This was December 12-14, 2008 weekend

at the show in Chilliwack, British Columbia. This was more than enough points to finish her Canadian Championship,

and from the Junior Puppy Class like litter sister Cali.

Great news out of Kentucky from the American Pomeranian Club National Specialty for Buster and his get :-)
CH Damascusroad Dream Buster ROM wins the Stud Dog Class at the 2008 APC Nationals in Kentucky
Buster won Stud Dog Class over a very nice entry; one of his sons finished his championship at the nationals by going Best of Winners; another of his sons won an Award of Merit; and yet another of Buster's kids was Best of Opposite Sex in Sweeps. Buster kids are really doing well in the US rings.

Sadly, 2008 also marked the end of an era for us!
We lost our foundation bitch, CH Damascusroad’s Joyful Noise, in February 2008. She was nearly 15 years old.
Emily made breed history in July 2006 at 13 years of age by finishing her championship under well known and respected
Toy Breeder judges including Shirley Limoges who has judged at Westminster and Hans Brunotte who placed her in his group.
Nearly all of these 2008 Damascusroad stars go back to CH Emily. We miss you old girl, and we’ll never forget you.
You have left a great legacy at Damascusroad!

And last, but not least, we had some very nice new litters so we have lots of new puppies to bring out next year.
As time permits, we'll put pictures of some of them on our Promising Puppies page

2007 Highlights

Coming in a bit ... and maybe some earlier years if my life ever gets less hectic!

2006 Highlights

The best ever New Damascusroad Champion, our foundation bitch Emily ~ Click Here
Emily is from the first "surviving" Damascusroad litter that we kept a puppy from and she is behind our very best dogs
including a number of BIS/Group winning Champions by Emily's daughter and our top producing bitch CH/ROM EllieAndyNiko, Brooke, Mitch, Molly, Maggie and Marina
Emily  finished her championship on July 2, 2006 . . . 13 days shy of her 13th birthday :-)
We believe Emily is the oldest Pomeranian in breed history to finish her championship, in two weekends no less :-)
