I
still can’t believe my beautiful little boy is gone, I thought I would
have him forever! He died where he slept – in my arms. I thought I
would die too when he took his last breath. I still can’t believe he
is gone. Evan garnered more than enough points in one weekend to finish his championship with me handling him. The very next set of shows he went BIS his first day out. The year or two I had him out, he was virtually unbeatable in the Toy ring. “Why
not a show picture here?”
you might ask. I have plenty of those (some are above), but that
wasn’t the way I saw him the majority of the time; that was the way
other people saw him occasionally. To me he was a pet first! That meant
he sometimes didn’t show as well as he might have otherwise, but that
didn’t matter to me . . . to
me he was always the best in show! I
fell asleep every night with Evan in the crook of my arm, so it was
fitting he should die in my ar |

I am firmly convinced that vaccinations played a major role in Evan's untimely death. Evan received all of his puppy shots, as well as annual rabies and multi-virus vaccinations at age 1, 2 and 3 . . . it was after that, that I stopped vaccinating my dogs annually. It is a well documented fact that vaccinations contribute to many of the diseases we see in our dogs. Click here for more information on the damage done by vaccines. |

This
little guy was so special - the love of my life for the 7 1/2
years that he lived. I still can’t believe my beautiful little boy is gone, I thought I would have him forever! |

This song was sent to me by
Laurie Kinsman, Sablewood Pomeranians, when she learned I had lost Evan. I Believe
Every now and then soft as
breath upon my skin
I feel you come back again And it’s like you haven’t been gone a moment from my side Like the tears were never cried Like the hands of time are holding you and me And with all my heart I’m sure we’re closer than we ever were I don’t have to hear or see, I’ve got all the proof I need There are more than angels watching over me I believe, I believe That when you die your life goes on It doesn’t end here when you’re gone Every soul is filled with light It never ends and if I’m right Our love can even reach across eternity I believe, I believe Forever, you’re a part of me Forever, in the heart of me And I’ll hold you even longer if I can The people who don’t see the most Say that I believe in ghosts And if that makes me crazy, then I am ‘Cause I believe There are more than angels watching over me I believe, I believe |

Evan at age seven ... not a great photo, he's kind of hunched up here ... but we were pretty proud of this win. July 2003 . . . the very last time I had him out.
